Hop Hing Oil Factory Limited (Hop Hing) was founded in Shantou, China, and began operation in Hong Kong since 1932, with business mainly involved in the importing, packaging and distribution of edible oil. Due to Hop Hing’s capability in producing high quality edible oils, “Lion & Globe Peanut Oil” became a preferred edible oil brand of Hong Kong. Over the last 10 years, Hop Hing Oil Factory produces more new types of quality healthy edible oil, such as “Lion & Globe Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Canola Oil”, “Lion & Globe Grapeseed Oil with Canola Oil”, “Lion & Globe Rice Bran Oil”, ……etc.

In May, 2012, Hop Hing was further awarded with the ISO22000:2005 & HACCP Food Safety Management System Certification by World Center for Certification & Quality. Through ISO22000 & HACCP Certification, it showed that Hop Hing has successfully proved that their edible oil supply chain is adequately controlled and safety secured. The system also complies with consumers’ requirements and food safety laws and regulations, as well as meeting the Company’s commitments to product food safety and quality to customers.
ISO 22000 is an international certification standard on food safety management for food production organisations which was built on ISO9001. ISO22000 Certification is suitable for any food services which scope include production, processing, transportation, storage, retail and packaging, etc. Through the application of this standard a food company will be able to achieve continuous improvement and meet consumer laws and regulations on food safety requirements.
