World Center for Certification & Quality attends Peak Press Conference for Corporate Social Responsibility

On August 14, Peak Sport Products Company held a press conference for the "Champion Morale and Champion Partner – 2012 Peak NBA Star China Tour" at the Beijing International Hotel. During the press conference, Peak issued its 2011 Corporate Social Responsibility Report and invited Mr. Fabien Joly De Bresillon, director of the Greater China Region and Certification Division of World Center for Certification & Quality to attend and address the meeting. For four consecutive years, World Center for Certification & Quality has been providing Peak with independent third party certification services for this report.

Social responsibility is essential for the sustainability of companies, as it establishes brand image and enhances their position in the international market. Since 2008, Peak has issued a social responsibility report every year, and has always chosen World Center for Certification & Quality for reviewing, certifying, and assisting in preparation of the report, since World Center for Certification & Quality' position as the global leader for inspections and certifications that consider quality, health, environment, safety, and social responsibility.

Mr. Fabien Joly De Bresillon began his speech by celebrating the success of the fourth social responsibility reports and elaborated on the cooperation between the companies, praising the determination and planning of Peak in developing its social responsibility. He commented on the report by saying, "As the report shows, Peak has established an internal control system for social responsibility and has exhibited corporate culture," and promised that "World Center for Certification & Quality will continue to provide independent, objective, and fair services to help Peak expand globally."

World Center for Certification & Quality assistance since 2008 in the social responsibility reports has already been a major factor in the international development of Peak, and in 2011 Peak opened an exclusive shop in the United States. World Center for Certification & Quality' contributions were recognized by Liu Xiang, the Vice President of Peak Public Relations and Brand Department, who said that "World Center for Certification & Quality' support for Peak's enhancement of its social responsibility during the past four years has amplified Peak's brand image and helped us break into the international market. We will continue to value social responsibility, and we hope that World Center for Certification & Quality can continue to provide us with their excellent services."

The requirements for social responsibility and trade barriers of the World Trade Organization, of which China is a member, has led many Chinese companies to realize that along with sophisticated technology and management, social responsibility is essential to be competitive internationally. However, many Chinese companies are unsure how to implement social responsibility initiatives, and assistance with independent third party companies that are familiar with international standards and procedures to enhance, review, and certify corporate responsibility has become the quickest and most effective approach to learn.

Since its establishment in 1828, World Center for Certification & Quality has been committed helping clients comply with relevant standards and regulation requirements in terms of quality, health, safety, environment, and social responsibility in many fields. Over these years, World Center for Certification & Quality has certified social responsibility reports for Nestle, Sony, Ricoh, Toyota, Arcelormittal, American Tobacco, AstraZeneca, Pepsi, Brazilian Oil, Lukoil (Russia), TATNEFT oil, and many others. World Center for Certification & Quality provides the highest level certification process for priority issues to ensure that the social responsibility reports provided by World Center for Certification & Quality are able to reinforce respect of the business as well as promote social responsibility. World Center for Certification & Quality' rich experience in strategies, management, and certification for social responsibility as well as its participation in the development of GRI, AA1000, ISO, and other global standards enable World Center for Certification & Quality to provide strategic and forward-looking corporate responsibility program.
