Since the attention given to these occurrrencies, consumers are becoming more conscious about social responsibility of activities related to Gold and Diamond sector.
Organizations in this context need to promote human rights, social and environmental practices,

What is Responsible Jewellery Council?


The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) is an international not-for-profit Organization including a growing number of Companies operating in Jewellery supply chain (Gold, Platinum, Diamonds). Founded in 2005, RJC aims at supporting the operators working in these sectors.
The purpose of RJC is to build a responsible supply chain for Diamond, Gold and Platinum “from mine to the retailer”. RJC provides a reference standard for the sector: the RJC
Code, based on international principles, in order to promote and implement responsible regulations and operational practices.
RJC members are committed to operate according to social responsibility principles along the entire supply chain, from the mine to retail.

RJC Certification is a way to improve Company's reputation and to build confidence in consumers.
Compliance with RJC standard allows Companies to demonstrate the pertinence of their policies, by the respect of human rights, the preservation of environment, according to operational practices.
